The Corporate Olympics serves as a valuable resource for at-risk youth in the D.C. area.  Through this event, corporations are able to show their camaraderie and support for their local communities, while raising awareness and the necessary funds to continually change the lives of the forgotten population.  We cordially invite you to the 2011 Corporate Olympics, held at Trinity University on July 22, from 12pm to 4pm to support, compete, and contribute to your community.

This fun filled day of old school field day events will pit companies against other corporations in such events as Tug-o-war, kickball and soccer. These main events will allow teams to rack up medals (points) as they vie for the Corporate Gold Medal Trophy! Also, for less competitive co-workers we will have events such as corn-hole, dunk your boss booth, relays and more. Although this event has a competitive edge there is something for everyone in the office. There will be a DJ on site, beautiful grassy areas for lounging and viewing your teammates as they play in various events.

The Empowering Center for Employment and Career Development is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating and empowering at-risk youth in the D.C area, by providing vocational and life skills training to increase employability.  We provide intensive functional remediation in academic areas as it relates to success in the workplace for students to achieve their post secondary goals of job training, employment, and independent living.

  1. Can you give me some general information about the rally and where can I find more details?

    Star&Stripes&Spokes™ is a motorcycle rally honoring America’s Armed Forces open to riders and non-riders alike being held Memorial Day Weekend, May 27-30, 2011, at RFK Stadium Festival Grounds in Washington, DC.   2. Why should I come to Stars&Stripes&Spokes™?

    Why not? This annual motorcycle rally has everything! There will be free motorcycle parking, live music, military vehicle & equipment displays and hundreds of vendors. The event is served by the Stadium-Armory Metro Station Blue and Orange lines so you can easily come to the event and still go see all the National Monuments and other sites in D.C. during Memorial Day weekend.

  3. Who can come to this rally?

    Everyone and anyone can join us at Stars&Stripes&Spokes™—men, women, adults, children. If you ride a bike, great! If you don’t, that’s great too!

  4. Is there parking available?

    There is free parking for all motorcycles and registered vendors. All other attendees must use public parking at RFK or come in by Metro.

  5. Will there be vendors?

    Yes, there will be many vendors present. Please check the current list of vendors on our website who will be there.

  6. I am a vendor. How do I arrange to be a vendor at Stars&Stripes&Spokes™?

    Please refer to the Vendor section of our website. Here you will find a vendor packet and agreement. Please fill out all of the necessary forms and send back to Meredith@stars-stripes-spokes.com. If you have questions, please call 202-942-4468.

  7. How far from the rally site are there hotels?

    Of course, with the rally taking place in Washington, D.C. there are hundreds of hotel accommodations in the area. The rally site is directly served by the Stadium-Armory Metro Stop on the Orange and Blue line.

  8. Are there any other fun things to do before and after the rally?

    Absolutely! Washington, DC is the Nation’s Capital with hundreds of things to do and see. There are monuments, museums, parks, theatres, movies, malls, and restaurants. Please refer to our Points of Interest section under Local Attractions on our website.

  9. What about the weather?

    Stars&Stripes&Spokes will take place rain or shine. Please refer to our weather link in order to be up-to-date on the latest weather patterns.
